Allan Fenger
Born on June 11, 1964
Allan has an extensive commercial background, holding a Master’s degree of Commerce and Law from CBS (Copenhagen Business School) and with more than 20 years’ experience in the fields of communication and design – from both sides of the industry.
After beginning his career with the Kunde & Co bureau, Allan worked for Danisco as product and marketing manager; however, after a few years he was asked to return to Kunde & Co, where he took over responsibility for the ARLA account, focusing on the development and launch of new products and brands in Scandinavia, Europe, Asia and South America.
Later, after having spent some years in South Africa working with a joint venture project, Allan entered the telecommunication industry in 1998 and was involved in launching and successfully extending Telia’s mobile net from zero to over than 400,000 customers in Denmark. Allan left the management group in 2002 to assume the position of managing director at 11 Design. In 2007 he launched LOOP Associates together with Jan Nielsen and Peter van Toorn Brix, where he has continued as a partner and managing director. In addition to being a member of several boards of directors as well as being a member of VK67, Allan has also acted as lecturer, external examiner and member of the Advisory Board at CBS.
Allan is responsible for projects involving the development of major identities and branding systems and also operates in the fields of design management, strategy, concept development, product development and communication.
Allan has been a principal involved in assignments for Skype, Pixmantec, Nordic Venture Partners, SKAT, The Ministry of Transport and Energy, Vopium, Life in Denmark, Coca-Cola, Fritz Hansen, Samsung, Coloplast, and others.
